DIY McCalls 7516 Swim Suit

Finally, it is Summer time! Its been a long winter and I personally could not wait to break out some summer makes.

Recently I posted on instagram this top from a recent swimsuit make and as promised I'm bringing you the deets on this piece.

So I used one of my older patterns McCalls 7516 . This halter style pattern its so flattering and great for us gals with a little more up top 😉

Also, not much yardage is needed to make this piece. You can actually piece together remanents and get real creative with this suit. Here I used a scuba knit fabric left over from a pair of pants made about 2 years ago.

I only made one or two provisons to this pattern based on preference. I lengthened the back straps so that I could adjust and tie it as I want. I also added a second set of ties for extra support and a little something extra 😁😘

This pattern turned out so cute Im already on make number three!!😁👍❤
