DIY Simplicity Vintage Caftan

Hey Guys! Im not sure who started "Throwback Thursday's" aka #TBT or even coined the phrase but, its Thursday and Im going to "throw it back" with this Vintage Caftan by Simplicity patterns.

So, I totally "dig" 70's fashion and I love that Simplicity Patterns is bringing back some of their vintage patterns.👍 Aside from bell bottoms, fold-over leather clutches, halter tops and sequins the Caftan is one of the best staples from the era! I could absolutely live in a Caftan! So with this pattern, Simplicity 5628 I pay homage to the Caftan.

This pattern was as simple as 1,2,3...and literally only two major pattern pieces. I did omit the neck facing and just finish the neck with a narrow hem instead. Enough "shop talk" though.... If you are looking for a quick easy summer pattern you've gotta pick this pattern up!

I used a challis fabric for this look and I couldn't decide on flats or heels so Im showing you both options. Flats for a more casual look, heels to dress it up. How ever you style it you can't go wrong!

Don't forget to accessorize! Check out the Keechii shop for bags and earrings to finish your looks.

Thats all for now guys!😗
