DIY Wrap Top and Denim Jeans

Hey Guys! I've been really busy finishing up my summer pieces and trying to transition into fall projects. I don't know about you but, it's so hard for me to put away the summer just yet. Needless to say, I have just a couple more pieces to share with you before Summer 2018 is completely behind us. Annnnnd I have yet to share any Gingham this summer so, I thought I would whip up this adorable blue and white Gingham wrap top I made using Laura Ashley McCalls Pattern M7627. I absolutely love wrap tops and dresses! Just about any style of Wrap! This Pattern was super easy to make and I will definitely re-visit this pattern in the future. I'm actually thinking about doing view B for the Fall!

My jeans are constructed from Mimi G's Skinny Jean Simplicity Pattern 8222. I actually made these a while ago and made a dark pair as well as this light pair you see here. I added the distress to the front leg and left the hem at the bottom loose to fray. I have worn and washed these jeans several times over already, they are in fact my favorite pair of jeans and I do plan to make more jeans for the Fall. This skinny jean pattern fit me perfectly, I used the curvy pattern and hardly had to do any altering to get my fit just right. Hope you enjoy the look!!
