Happy Thursday everyone! I'm revisiting a pattern that has been around a while and you may have seen done a few times. I've actually made this pattern once before only this time I wanted to make a few provisions to it. Because you know me, I'm going to tweak it til I make it mine.
This tunic is one of the many lovely views from Simplicity Pattern 8094. This is a really simple pattern that is great for beginning sewers. There's only a few pattern pieces, its a pull over which means not a lot of extra notions to purchase. The side splits come up a little high so for those who prefer to keep it modest you can always sew the sides up more.
For this make, I kept the original pattern for view A, however I did add two extra long ties to both sleeves to tie up around the arm.
I'm actually in love with this piece and this neon knit fabric that I purchased from Walmart's fabric department worked perfect.
This is definately a piece that I can alternate in my everyday wardrobe! I hope you enjoy this look!
Til next time!
