Hello Gems! We are only a few pieces away from completing the items on the cohesive Fall wardrobe List. I must admit it has taking a little longer than 5 weeks to get all the pieces posted but I did stray from the plan and add a couple pieces that were not on the list originally. But its still Fall and "the sew must go on" 😁👍
I am a functional fashion type of girl! I chasing after a toddler most of the days so I love a stylish knit dress. It moves, its not fussy, constricting and its great for layering. This caftan from Simplicity pattern 8911 has been in the stash since summer but this long sleeve option is perfect for fall! The caftan has such a sophisticated silhouette and can be flattering on most all figures especially in a jersey knit fabric with a belt cinching the . And this wine color fits right in with my color palette for the Fall.
The jacket is a added bonus! Its not an original capsule piece but I made it from left over tweed from a pair of pants I made for the Fall series (spoiler alert)🤫 Anyway, its about mixing and creating looks with your pieces. To get the most wear out of them. This jacket is from Cynthia Rowley for Simplicity pattern 2443. Ive been sitting on this pattern for quite a while now. I don't know why. But, I thought this was the perfect time to make this jacket. Its not a essential but it is definitely great for layering for the Fall! Thanks all for now!
Until next time!
